We are seeking a Frontend Developer to join our innovative team, a UK-based tech venture that aims to build and support start-ups with a focus on Sharia-compliant FinTech applications. This role requires expertise in React Native, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a project designed for business start-ups and SMEs.
Main Responsibilities
As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:
* Developing high-quality code to create responsive user interfaces.
* Collaborating with the Tech Lead on architectural decisions.
* Working closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs.
* Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
* Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
* Contributing to project planning and timelines.
* Utilizing JIRA for project management and task tracking.
* Communicating daily with the Tech Lead to address technical hurdles.
Key Requirements
* Proficiency in React Native framework.
* Hands-on experience in frontend development.
* Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
* Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools.
* Understanding of the FinTech space is a plus
* Experience in designing investor-grade mockups and prototypes.
* Knowledge of Sharia-compliance in financial applications.
* Background in integration with third-party APIs.
* Familiarity with AWS infrastructure.
