About Our Client

The employer is a small-sized company operating within the Technology & Telecoms industry. They are committed to delivering innovative solutions and maintaining high standards of financial accountability.

Job Description

3. Produce and maintain accurate financial information relating to project delivery and usage‑driven income, ensuring figures are complete, reliable, and reported in line with internal governance.
4. Record project and consumption‑based revenue transactions within the finance system, ensuring invoicing reflects approved activity and contractual terms.
5. Play an active role in the month‑end close by preparing reconciliations, reviewing movements, and providing clear explanations for variances and trends.
6. Review underlying data sources to identify inconsistencies, resolve errors, and ensure revenue is recognised appropriately.
7. Track and analyse usage‑related income streams, investigating unusual patterns and supporting accurate customer billing.
8. Prepare supporting documentation for audit and year‑end processes, responding to queries with clear, well‑reasoned explanations.
9. Apply and uphold financial controls, ensuring reporting processes align with company policies and audit expectations.
10. Work closely with finance and non‑finance teams to deliver meaningful reporting that supports operational and commercial decision‑making.
11. Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and visibility, contributing to ongoing process enhancements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Management Accountant should have:

12. A recognised or working‑towards qualification in accounting or finance.
13. Practical exposure to financial and statutory reporting, ideally within a technology‑led or fast‑paced commercial environment.
14. Solid understanding of core accounting concepts and the application of financial reporting frameworks.
15. Strong analytical capability with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
16. Confidence using financial systems, alongside advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
17. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
