Technical Operations Engineer
As a Technology Operations Engineer, you’ll support our trading platform and infrastructure teams by diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. You’ll communicate directly with exchanges, traders, and developers to maintain a smooth, high‑availability trading ecosystem.
Qualifications & Skills
* Minimum of 2 years in trade support, site reliability engineering, or related fields.
* Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
* Familiarity with trading platforms and financial markets.
* Thrives in high‑pressure environments while collaborating with traders, developers and other engineering teams.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
* Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks.
* Ability to craft complex SQL queries and perform database updates.
* Basic networking knowledge, including multicast, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and common troubleshooting tools.
What You’ll Be Working On
* Maintain the health and availability of a world‑class trading ecosystem.
* Respond to support requests from traders and software engineers.
* Contribute to automation and monitoring solutions, reducing manual configuration and improving uptime.
* Collaborate with external trading partners, such as financial exchanges and clearing firms, to resolve technical issues.
* Onboard new trading desks, systems, and technologies.
