What You'll Need to Succeed: Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a maintenance electrician within industrial environments. Full qualification in City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). Demonstrable hands-on skills in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs. Strong understanding of safe working practices and compliance with health and safety standards. Computer literacy for reporting, documentation, and compliance purposes. Nice to Have Skills: City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing qualification. Experience working with three-phase motors and control systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. Background in Facilities Management or multi-disciplinary site environments. Certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, manual handling, working at height, and asbestos awareness. Preferred Education and Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified maintenance electrician in an industrial context. Practical, solution-focused approach to electrical maintenance and fault troubleshooting. Ability to work independently with sound judgment, responding swiftly to electrical issues. Team player with excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating with contractors and colleagues. Additional Requirements: Ability to work at height and support out-of-hours maintenance when necessary. Willingness to support safety initiatives and promote safe working practices.
