As a Health and Safety Business Partner, youll be responsible for:
* Supporting your business area in developing and embedding effective H&S systems, ensuring risks are understood and managed through practical, tailored solutions.
* Working closely with managers to ensure H&S is properly considered in day-to-day operations, initiatives, and decision-making across branches and regions.
* Investigating incidents alongside local teams, producing clear reports, and driving the implementation of corrective actions and shared learning.
* Delivering H&S training and ongoing coaching to colleagues, championing safety as a core business value, and strengthening capability across the business area.
* Carrying out regular monitoring visits and audits.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and will require regular travel to sites across the Wolseley Group.
And heres what wed like you to have:
* A NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Level 3 qualification) is a minimum, with a NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 qualification considered a strong advantage.
* Proven experience partnering with Senior Managers to drive meaningful H&S improvements and influence cultural change.
* A strong commercial mindset, able to take a balanced, risk-based approach that supports both safety and operational priorities.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, with an understanding of emerging H&S trends and how they impact business operations.
