Hours: Full-time | 39 hours per week over 4 days Mon - Thurs

About the Role
You'll be part of the paint finishing team, ensuring every component receives the correct surface treatment, coating, and finish to exact tolerances. You'll work with spraying equipment, shot blasting, and prep/finishing tasks, to help deliver high-quality end products.
Key Responsibilities
7. Operating spray booths / spray guns to apply wet paint or powder coatings
8. Performing steel shot blasting and surface preparation
9. Using 2-pack (2K) paint systems (where applicable)
10. Loading and unloading parts onto painting jigs and conveyors
11. Meeting daily production, quality and throughput targets
12. Inspecting painted components against finish, thickness, and defect tolerances
13. Handling and safely moving production parts within the paint shop
14. Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures (PPE, ventilation, waste handling)
15. Participating in continuous improvement and defect-reduction initiatives
Requirements / Skills You Bring
Essential:
16. Previous experience in a paint shop / finishing environment
17. Solid experience in shot blasting / surface prep
18. Experience working within a high-volume production paint line
19. Strong attention to finish quality, defect detection, consistency
20. Ability to work in a controlled environment (spray booth, clean conditions)
Desirable:
21. Experience with 2-pack (2K / dual-component) paint systems
22. Understanding of paint chemistry, drying / curing processes
23. Knowledge of coating thickness measurement, gloss / finish measurement
24. Familiarity with paint mixing, colour matching, and overspray control
25. Experience with lean manufacturing / quality control systems
