About the Role:

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Employability Team, ensuring the efficient coordination of services and activities that support the department across a range of administrative duties.

This role involves managing communications, maintaining accurate records, scheduling venues and events, and supporting the administration of employability programs.

The Employability Team Administrator plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, contributing to a high-quality service that enables the department to successfully achieve its goal in supporting adult learners on their return to work journeys.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Roles and Responsibilities

Administrative Support:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Employability Team, including sourcing of venues for course delivery, handling emails, preparing documents, and financial reconciliation.

Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student enrolment.

Event Coordination:
Assist in the planning, promotion, and delivery of employability events, workshops, job fairs, and employer engagement activities.

Resource Preparation:
Support the preparation and distribution of materials for employability programs, including information packs, feedback forms, and presentation slides.

Compliance and Confidentiality:
Ensure all activities comply with data protection regulations and organisational policies, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of administrative processes and employability service delivery through feedback and proactive suggestions

General duties

4. To work in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act, ensuring the College is a safe environment for staff, students and visitors.
5. To promote with staff and students the importance of safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults they are responsible for and come into contact with.
6. To work at all times in accordance with North Hertfordshire College’s policies and procedures.
7. To carry out such duties as may be required from time to time by the college that are appropriate to the grade of the post
