What You’ll Be Doing
* Create high-impact VFX, shaders, textures, and meshes for immersive VR environments
* Define and evolve environment and VFX pipelines, tools, and workflows
* Develop and optimize custom Unity tools for artists and designers
* Work hands-on with HLSL shaders, ensuring they are clean, scalable, and high-performing
* Drive visual quality while maintaining performance targets for VR/mobile platforms
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical, rendering, and performance bottlenecks
* Collaborate closely with a small, high-caliber team of artists and engineers
What You Bring
* 5+ years’ experience with Unity (Unity3D)
* 2+ years working as a Technical Artist
* Strong portfolio demonstrating real-time VFX and visual polish
* Deep understanding of rendering pipelines (Forward & Built-in)
* Proven experience in mobile/VR optimization
* Expertise in shader development (HLSL preferred)
* Hands-on experience with:
* Animations, Timelines, Particle Systems
* VFX Graph, Nested Prefabs, Material Property Blocks
Bonus Points If You Have
* Experience with procedural workflows (Houdini, Substance, or similar DCC tools)
* Ability to create and optimize sprite sheets, textures, and mesh data pipelines
* Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation in real-time graphics
