The role is part of the Vacuum Technology Business Area (VT BA) and is responsible for ensuring the availability and operational delivery of IT systems and services across EMEA, primarily in the UK and Ireland, at agreed SLA levels.
Responsibilities
* Manage the availability and operational delivery of VT BA IT systems and services.
* Effectively handle forwarded incidents and self‑service requests.
* Implement and support IT infrastructure including servers, client infrastructure, LAN/WAN, telephony, and telecommunications equipment in the UK and Ireland.
* Own and maintain local support for cross‑platform applications and systems within the global VT BA IT department.
* Coordinate EMEA infrastructure operations, ensuring efficient local support and maintenance of servers, server applications, and related client infrastructure.
