We are a well-established *independent car dealership in Ballygawley* with an in-house workshop. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced *Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic* to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role would suit a reliable, hands-on *motor mechanic* who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants long-term, stable employment in a professional dealership environment.
The Role
As a *Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic*, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of *vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs* on cars and light commercial vehicles.
*Key responsibilities include:*
* Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
* Diagnostics and fault finding
* Mechanical repairs including *brakes, suspension, clutches, and timing belts*
* Engine and gearbox work where required
* Pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and used car preparation
* MOT preparation (where applicable)
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and workshop safety
*What We’re Looking For*
* Qualified *Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic*
* Proven experience working in a workshop or dealership environment
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and time management
* Full UK driving licence
* *MOT Tester licence desirable but not essential*
