Collaborative Communities Team ManagerVCSE Mental Health Alliance Service12-month fixed-term contract (with view to extend)Location: Hybrid - with travel across the North East (Northumberland focus)Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car. About the roleEveryturn Mental Health is looking for an experienced and passionate Collaborative Communities Team Manager to join our VCSE Mental Health Alliance Service.This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a truly collaborative, community-led approach to mental health support, working across statutory and voluntary sectors to reduce inequalities and promote recovery and resilience.You will manage a small team and play a key role in building partnerships, developing community wellbeing spaces, and ensuring services are shaped by the people and communities they support.This role is not eligible for sponsorship as is does not meet the requirements as set out by the UK Visa and Immigration ServiceWhat you’ll doBuild strong partnerships across NHS services, VCSE organisations, and Local Authority teamsLead the development and delivery of community wellbeing spaces across NorthumberlandFacilitate multi-agency collaboration to create integrated, accessible support (“no wrong door”)Champion co-production, ensuring services reflect the needs of service users, carers, and communitiesSupport outreach and engagement initiatives, including partnership working with mobile servicesMonitor service impact, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvementDevelop consistent, safe operating procedures across servicesLead on engagement campaigns to raise awareness and increase accessLine manage and support a small team, fostering a positive and inclusive cultureWhat we’re looking forSignificant experience in community development, engagement, or similar rolesStrong background in partnership working across VCSE, NHS, or Local Authority settingsExperience managing staff and leading teamsConfidence in monitoring, evaluation, and using data to inform decisionsExcellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skillsGood knowledge of Northumberland communities and the VCSE landscapeAbility to manage a varied and fast-paced workloadA values-driven approach, with a passion for empowering communities and tackling inequalitiesWhat We Offer In ReturnWe are proud to have been recognised and certified as a Great Place to Work, which speaks volumes on how much we value our staff members.
