What does this role do?
Events Officers are vital to the work of ReportOUT, acting as the bridge between research, campaigns, and the public. They transform complex human rights issues into accessible, engaging spaces for dialogue, whether through community events, briefings, or public discussions, helping people connect emotionally and practically with ReportOUT’s mission.
By coordinating safe, inclusive, and well-run events, Events Officers create opportunities for learning, solidarity, and action, while also strengthening partnerships, amplifying marginalised voices, and raising the organisation’s profile. Their role is essential for building trust, visibility, and momentum, ensuring that ReportOUT’s research and advocacy reach the people who can engage with it, support it, and help turn evidence into impact.
