An exciting role to manage and grow George Eliot Hospital's Trust's Charity, leading the delivery of the Trust's Fundraising Strategy to maximise revenue. Covering all departments within the Trust you will be fundraising for specialist equipment, enhanced furnishings and projects to improve patient experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant team and be instrumental in the delivery of a transformative strategy and raise capital and revenue funds.
Ideally you will have a background of proven success within donor engagement and retention. You will have managed a fundraising function, designed and delivered exceptional supporter journeys and have experience in public facing fundraising roles.
Main duties of the job
As a proven manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the fundraising team and ensuring the effective running of the Trust's charitable arm. You will act as the link between the Trust's charity, local people and the local business community.
Managing community engagement and event programmes that maximise charitable income and raise awareness of how local people can support the Trust and our patients.
