Responsibilities
* Deliver direct Occupational Therapy support to people with disabilities.
* Work with parents, carers and families to develop resilience and promote independence.
* Complete screening assessments and make recommendations for appropriate interventions.
* Carry out safeguarding activity where required.
* Ensure individuals and their families are at the centre of decision‑making about their care and desired outcomes.
Qualifications
* Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification (minimum 3 years post‑qualified).
* Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experience in manual handling and relevant training.
* Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in technology and relevant software systems.
Details
Temporary role for initially 12 weeks, part‑time 23 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid model of working between Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay and home following initial training.
Salary £20.48 per hour plus benefits including weekly pay and holiday accrual.
