Being first point of contact for parents
Typing clinic and admin letters using Trust digital dictation software
Arranging tests and following up results
Arranging appointments and booking clinic rooms
Cashing up clinics
Liaising with other NHS providers and other health and social care organisations
Working closely with consultants

Person specification
Education
* English Language GCSE Grade C or equivalent
* AMSPAR or Medical Terminology qualification
Experience
* Medical secretary experience
* Working knowledge and Experience of Microsoft office
* NHS experience working in an administrative role
* Medical support secretary experience
* Working knowledge of PAS/Clinical Web Portal/Dragon dictation system
