My client are a leading telecommunications company are currently looking for a Wayleave Manager on a permanent basis to lead and manage the wayleave team, ensuring the timely and efficient acquisition of permissions and agreements to support network build projects.
Track record of negotiating and finalising agreements with diverse stakeholders, including landowners, local authorities, and housing associations.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in wayleave, land and property rights, or related fields.
Familiarity with GIS tools or mapping software, such as Nimbus Maps.
Knowledge of local authority processes and housing association frameworks.
Negotiate, secure, and manage wayleave agreements with landowners, local authorities, and stakeholders to support fibre network deployment.
Address and resolve disputes or objections related to wayleave agreements, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines.
Collaborate with planning, legal, build, and surveying teams to ensure wayleave requirements are integrated into project workflows.
Ensure all wayleave agreements comply with UK laws, regulations, and industry standards, mitigating potential risks.
Develop and refine wayleave policies, processes, and templates to standardise and improve efficiency across projects.
Track wayleave acquisition progress against project schedules, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions as needed.
