Church Street Partnership are looking for a salaried GP to join our team for 6 sessions a week. You will be based at one of our three sites within Bishop's Stortford.

We offer 15-minute face to face consultations and have a GP Trainer on site, hosting ST trainees. We embrace new technologies and innovations to support accessible, high-quality care.


Main duties of the job

We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Salaried GP to join our progressive team at Church Street Partnership. You will be working 4-6 sessions per week, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive and innovative environment.

All applicants should have the following qualifications:

* Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
* Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
* Be on the NHSE medical performers list Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services;
* Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date;
* Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety;
* Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.


About us

* Extremely active PCN collaboration, with direct access to MDT (mental health, cancer) physiotherapies, mental health workers, womens reproductive health, neurodiversity support teams, social prescribing, adolescent health, drug and alcohol teams.
* Established collaborative working with ICB, local practices, community teams
* Capped appointments 15-minute F2F, 10-minute telephone calls
* No extra additional appointments added to routine clinics
* Half day duty sessions, shared on rotation


Job responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality care to patients, in accordance with the GMS contract
* Prescribe safely and appropriately, in line with local/national guidelines
* Manage long-term conditions effectively
* Undertake shared practice duties including Total Triage cover
* Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks (e.g. referrals, results, prescriptions)
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
* Participate in audits, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities
* Attend practice meetings and contribute to team development
* Support the training of students and junior clinicians
* Engage with appraisals and the revalidation process
* Uphold all practice policies including confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding


Person Specification


Qualifications

* Medical degree (e.g. MBBS or equivalent)
* Full GMC registration with a license to practise
* Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice NHS
* GP Performers List registration
* Current enhanced DBS check
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patient-focused and team-orientated approach
* Commitment to continuous professional development
* An interest in the future of primary care and potential partnership opportunities
* Interest in clinical leadership, quality improvement, or education Proficiency with digital tools and innovation in healthcare delivery
