Job Overview The New Beacon is a leading day and boarding prep school for boys aged 3-13, with a co-educational nursery, renowned for its commitment to excellence in education, sport and the arts. We are seeking a friendly and highly organised School Secretary to join our team at The New Beacon, providing dedicated administrative and secretarial support to the Early Years, Pre-Prep and Junior School. As the first point of contact for parents, pupils and visitors, the successful candidate will play a key role in representing the School with warmth and professionalism. Working closely with the Heads of Section and wider staff, the School Secretary will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the School by managing communications, coordinating diaries, maintaining records, and supporting a wide range of school activities. This is a rewarding and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in providing exceptional administrative support.
