Responsibilities
 * Promotes optimal outcomes for patients, reducing readmissions, and staff education, facilitating reduction in the length of stay, and coordinating the standards of care and care delivery from admission to discharge.
 * Develops and sets goals at the process, job, and interface level to ensure optimal patient care meets overall organizational goals.
 * Ensures proper standards are followed for nursing practice and provides an interface between the support services and clinical services.
 * Conveys complex information, listens actively to staff concerns, relays information back to management, and works with management to facilitate learning and growth.
 * Shows patience and empathy with new or newly graduated staff.
 * Mentors clinical staff, guiding them in clinical skills and professional development.
Qualifications
 * Education: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing. Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.
 * License/Certification: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Current South Carolina or Compact State Nursing Licensure.
