Job Description
We have an opportunity to join the IQ EQ Group Finance Audit and Control team in the Isle of Man on a contract basis, to cover a period of maternity leave. The team is responsible for setting financial control policy for subsidiary entities around the world, technical IFRS specialism, associated accounting papers, coordination of the Group external audit process, and preparation of the Group’s consolidated IFRS financial statements.
Responsibilities
1. Monthly control of Inter-Company accounts and reconciliations
2. Monthly preparation of the Group’s consolidation journals
3. Preparation of other financial and management reporting information as required
4. Support the preparation and drafting of the Group’s Consolidated Financial Statements and supporting notes (prepared under IFRS)
5. Preparation of balance sheets and balance sheet reconciliations for Intermediate Holding Companies managed by the team
6. Support preparation of accounting papers, valuations, and journals for mergers and acquisitions
7. Assist in delivering certain Group Finance projects
Qualifications
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA recently qualified
* Experience in managing external audits and working with auditors
* Strong working knowledge of IFRS is essential
* Knowledge of FRS 102 and Lux GAAP is preferable
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
* Experience with Sun accounting system is an advantage
