We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Van Driver to join our small, close-knit team at Condell Building Supplies in Hemel
Hempstead.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be out on the road delivering building materials to local sites and
customers in a 3.5t flatbed — but when you’re back at branch, you’ll roll your sleeves up and support the yard team too. From
loading and unloading to stock movement and customer collections, you’ll be a key part of keeping the branch running smoothly.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Delivering building materials safely and professionally in a 3.5t flatbed vehicle
* Loading and securing goods correctly
* Supporting yard operations during quieter delivery periods
* Serving customers on collections and helping keep the yard organised
* Operating a forklift (training can be provided if needed)
* Representing Condell with great service on every job
HOURS & BENEFITS
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am–4:30pm
Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Full UK driving licence with a clean record
* Experience as a van driver, ideally multi-drop in the Home Counties
* Comfortable with manual handling and outdoor yard work
* Forklift experience
* A good understanding of health & safety and load security
* Building materials knowledge is an advantage
* A positive, reliable, “get stuck in” attitude
* Happy working as part of a small, hands-on team
