We are excited to invite an enthusiastic HGV Mechanic to join our Transport Department at the Droitwich Depot within Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a prestigious logistics company, where you'll be servicing and repairing a modern, well-maintained fleet of vehicles.
Your Role
As an HGV Mechanic, your primary mission will be to ensure our fleet is in top-notch condition, complying with all legal and company standards. You will be responsible for:
* Inspecting and maintaining our HGV fleet
* Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and transporting them to the test center
* Recording vehicle defects and maintaining accurate records of work performed
* Repairing minor accident damage
* Conducting fault diagnosis
* Prioritizing safety in all aspects of your work
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:

Qualifications: City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.

Experience: Commercial experience with HGVs is essential; a Class C+E license is preferable but not mandatory.
*
Skills: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, manage deadlines effectively, and prioritize your workload.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern of 5 out of 7 days, including weekends. You will be based at our Droitwich Depot (WR9 0LW).

o Saturday: £22.45 per hour
o Sunday: £29.69 per hour
o Overtime/Bank Holiday: £29.69 per hour
