My client is a leading chilled food manufacturing business producing large volumes of chilled products for the major retailers.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Production Planner on a fixed term contract until December at their site in the Midlands.
Reporting into the Planning Manager you will be responsible for producing production plans in line with the business and customer requirements as well as managing stocks at both work in progress (WIP) and finished goods to ensure service level expectations are met with minimal waste.
Working hours are Sunday – Wednesday 07:00 – 15:30
£30, – £33, dependant on experience
To apply you will ideally have experience of working as a Production Planner in a chilled food manufacturer supplying multiple customers. You will know how to create manufacturing plans which prioritise overall efficiency and cost control, taking into account all business functions and interdependencies. You must have good knowledge of how KPIs and measures are used to drive results in supply chain processes and have good working knowledge of relevant IT systems and software tools.
