The Perks Competitive Salary: Earn up to £45,000 based on your experience Hybrid Working: Enjoy the flexibility of 2-3 days in the office in London, with the rest of your week working from home CGI Study Support: This role offers full study support for your Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) qualification Diverse Client Portfolio: Gain invaluable experience working with a wide range of clients across various exciting sectors Career Development: This is a rewarding opportunity to truly develop your company secretarial career in a client-focused environment Your Responsibilities As a Company Secretarial Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Compliance Support: Maintaining statutory registers and ensuring the timely filing of documents with Companies House Assisting with the preparation and submission of confirmation statements and other statutory filings Governance and Board Support: Assisting with the preparation of client board meeting agendas, papers and minutes Helping to ensure compliance with governance policies and procedures Coordinating with stakeholders to arrange client board and committee meetings Transactional Support: Supporting the team with client transactions, including share issuances, restructuring and acquisitions Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements Team Collaboration and Development: Providing administrative and project support to senior team members Acting as a point of support for junior team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and mentorship General Administration: Maintaining accurate records and filing systems Managing correspondence and queries related to company secretarial matters About you: We're looking for a proactive and collaborative individual with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. Qualifications: A full or part qualification with the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) would be welcomed, but is not a requirement – we're open to candidates who are part-qualified (studying for a CGI qualification) or have equivalent governance/legal training Experience: Ideally, you'll have 1-3 years of experience in a company secretarial, legal or governance role, with a strong background in entity management, preferably gained within a professional services firm Knowledge: Knowledge of corporate governance principles and UK regulatory frameworks is desirable Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office and entity management software (experience with Diligent Entities is a plus!)
