Position: Electrical CX Engineer
Location: Onsite – Europe
Job Description
As an Electrical CX Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the Electrical equipment commissioning deliverables. As part of the CX Team, you will ensure the quality delivery of projects & equipment, ensuring that all client specifications are met, through inspections & testing. You will work closely with the CX Lead as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to deliver cutting‑edge projects while meeting all client specifications.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the applicable Jones Engineering database for each project, ensuring it is kept up to date and accurate, delivering handover, testing & script documentation to the client.
* Complete system and equipment test packs using Project Quality Management Software on a project-by-project basis.
* Liaise with the QA Team on handover documentation, system handover and tagging dates.
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of pre‑commissioning and commissioning execution plans (including the schedule and the mobilization of personnel and equipment).
* Prepare pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures with the specialist vendor and suppliers.
* Review the performance test procedures and operating manuals with the vendor team.
* Execute pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up.
* Coordinate assistance of the vendor representatives.
* Supervise performance tests if required.
* Liaise with AP and Testing teams ahead of functional switching and energisations.
* Assist in preparation of final reports and certificates.
* Attend meetings with management and subcontractors as required.
* Travel required for Ireland and mainland Europe site support where necessary.
Qualifications
* Relevant Electrical/quality qualification.
* Electrical trade background would be advantageous.
* Minimum 1+ year experience in a similar role desirable.
* Fluent English essential.
* Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics essential.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential.
* Experience working with quality software would be advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
