Partnerships Manager role at British Gas. This position focuses on developing and implementing marketing initiatives to identify and optimise distribution channels, manage partnerships, licensing agreements, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships to maximise revenue growth.

About the role
The Partnerships Manager will lead the development and implementation of marketing initiatives, conduct market research to uncover opportunities for channel expansion, and manage channel relationships with third parties. Responsibilities include designing and delivering collaborative marketing programmes with partners to broaden brand reach and impact, and managing licensing agreements and partnerships to maximise revenue growth.
* Manage relationships with key business stakeholders and help develop an end-to-end partner priority roadmap reviewed periodically (monthly, quarterly, annually).
* Grow commercial value from existing partners across all Lines of Business (LOB): Protection, Installs, and On Demand.
* Oversee lifecycle of development and partnership activity from research and lead generation to onboarding and in-life management.
* Ensure compliance within the FCA regulatory framework for all third-party relationships and sales.
* Maintain broad understanding of all LOBs and stay informed through training, networking, events, and presentations.
What we are looking for
* Identify sector trends and customer needs to inform business development strategy and planning.
* Manage relationships and accounts, extracting additional value from existing partners and developing a pipeline of new ones.
* Deliver sales, revenue, and contribution by partner/customer against in-year targets and plans.
* Develop proposals and presentations to generate and nurture growth opportunities across sectors and each LOB as applicable.
* Assist in preparing business cases, forecasts, RFPs, and other commercial documents.
* Assist in tender/RFP processes for business growth.
* Coordinate onboarding of new partners with support from BG functions or external agencies as needed.
* Coordinate the implementation of sales and marketing strategies with partners, involving support from Digital, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other BG functions as required.
