We are looking for a strong, creative leader with a commitment towards high-standards of childcare and education. This role requires a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare with leadership experience in an early years setting.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Assume overall responsibility of the day-today running of the nursery ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
* Lead and inspire our team of practitioners
* Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures
* Ensure that an appropriate play-based EYFS curriculum is in place
* Capacity to coordinate in a specialist area i.e. Safeguarding officer / SENCO
* Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external parties (e.g. local council)
* Work closely with the Directors to oversee and manage the following areas:
* 1) Health and safety
* 2) Recruitment / staff development
* 3) Finance and admin
