About the role: The main purpose of the role is to carry out both programmed and responsive refuse & recycling collections on a daily basis as per the contract requirement and specification. Responsibilities: Responsible for the loading of Waste into the vehicle. Responsible for the daily inspection and reporting procedure for machinery prior to and on completion of use. Report progress and/or any matters which arise affecting delivery of service. Maintain contact with the Supervisor notifying of any delays or missed collections. Ensure that correct PPE is worn at all times. Report any dangerous situation, occurrences, accidents, incidents or near misses to the Office immediately. Work as part of the team to ensure that all allocated work is completed within the Working Day. Assist the driver with directing vehicle manoeuvres.
