Care Assistant - Complex Care | Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £15.20 per hour (including holiday pay – itemised on payslips). Shifts: Day and Night. Contract Type: Zero Hours Contract – with consistent rostering to ensure continuity for staff and clients. This role is with Harmony Healthcare, focused on community-based complex care.
We are looking for compassionate and skilled Complex Care Healthcare Assistants to join our community-based teams in Peterborough. If you want a role where you can make a real difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Provide complex care support (tracheostomy, PEG, ventilation, seizure management) as part of community-based teams.
* Deliver person-centred care and support within the home setting.
* Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity of care and safe practices.
What You’ll Bring / Qualifications
* Previous experience in complex care (tracheostomy, PEG, ventilation, seizure management) desirable — full training provided.
* A genuine passion for person-centred care and community-based working.
* Experience supporting children and/or adults with complex health needs (preferred but not essential).
* Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a strong desire to make a difference.
