The role
Candour Talent are recruiting a Financial Controller to join their client’s team in the Swansea area.
* Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent
* Working Hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 30 mins lunch break
* Salary: £55-65k Negotiable DOE

Our client is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join their team in the Swansea area. Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will join a manufacturing business that has experienced steady and sustained growth. You will be responsible for a small team and play a pivotal role in developing and implementing processes and procedures following the introduction of a new ERP system.

Experience in the manufacturing sector is essential for this role.
The Role:
* Take an active part in designing how the new ERP will operate and represent the finance function in its development
* Become a system expert and train existing team members on new ways of working in ERP
* Understand and update existing financial processes
* Improve existing reporting routine and develop new reporting processes
* Design and implement Budgeting and Forecasting routines
* Work with the existing finance team to streamline financial reporting timetables
* Work with wider teams develop and improve KPI reporting & accuracy
* Help develop existing team members
* Take an active part within the wider finance team during busy periods e.g. year end
* Ad-hoc reconciliations and analysis
The Ideal Candidate:
* ACCA / CIMA / ACA or QBE
* Experience of working in a FMCG Manufacturing environment
* Experience of implementing new IT systems & processes
* Experience of change management
* Experience of people management and team development
* Excellent IT Skills
* Logical and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
