The school is seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the team from October 2025. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, including leading whole-class sessions, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting pupils with additional needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering learning activities under the direction of teaching staff
* Leading small group and whole-class sessions
* Supporting pupils with varying needs, including SEN
* Assisting with assessment and progress tracking
* Collaborating with teachers and support staff to raise attainment
What you'll need to succeed
* HLTA status or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience working in a primary school setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
* A current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
