Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Liverpool, seeking a dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team.
✨ The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with additional learning needs (e.g., SEND, SEMH, or EAL).
* Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement personalised learning plans.
* Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support students both academically and emotionally to ensure they reach their full potential.
✅ Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people (ideally in a school setting).
* A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
Teaching qualifications are not required—this is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start or further a career in education.
