Associate Director – Building Control (Contract)
Contract: 12 Months
Rate: £70–£85 p/h OUTSIDE I36

Overview
An experienced Associate Director is required to lead a Building Control service within a commercially focused environment. The role will drive operational performance, service growth, financial control and team leadership while delivering high-quality, compliant services to customers.

Manage budgets, income generation, cost control and contract performance.

Build strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.

Lead continuous improvement, change initiatives and innovation.

Ensure statutory, regulatory, health & safety and governance compliance.
*
Provide clear performance reporting, KPIs and risk management.
Essential Experience
*
Senior leadership experience within Building Control or a related regulatory environment.
*
Strong commercial track record in service growth and financial management.
*
Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex operations.
*
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
*
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
*
Professional qualification / chartered status (or equivalent experience)
