Role Overview: The Senior Business Development Manager will be an integral member of the Marketing, Business Development and Communications (MBD&C) team. Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development - Disputes, the role involves providing strategic support and direction to the global IP Litigation group. The role encompasses a full spectrum of marketing and BD activities, including pitches, events, directories, campaigns, thought leadership, and other profile-raising activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and drive a cohesive BD strategy with a focus on increasing collaboration and cross-selling.
* Act as an internal consultant and coach to partners on the execution of their BD plans.
* Identify new business development opportunities and formulate tactical plans.
* Lead on multi-jurisdictional pitches and pitches of strategic importance.
* Manage key client relationships within the group, including prospects and targets.
* Develop and implement pitch and matter debriefs, including client interviews.
* Coordinate and promote key global or multi-jurisdictional campaigns and activities.
* Assess marketing and BD activities for ROI and influence decisions on budget allocation.
* Oversee marketing processes and manage group marketing material.
* Provide training on business development skills to associates within the group.
* Coach and mentor BD team members aligned to the IP Litigation practice group globally.

* Ability to plan ahead, manage time efficiently, and balance conflicting priorities.
