Hydrology Consultant\n\nWe are a leading environmental consultancy who specialise in ecology and hydrology, with offices located in the Midlands, South Manchester, and Sheffield. The specialist team are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to environmental challenges across the UK. We are currently seeking a Hydrology Consultant to join our growing team.
You could be based in many locations across the West Midlands, Nottingham, Manchester and Sheffield.\n\nAs a Hydrology Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality consultancy services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:\n\nConducting flood risk assessments to support planning applications and development projects.\nUndertaking Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.\nDeveloping drainage strategies and designs for a variety of projects, ensuring sustainable and effective water management solutions.\nPreparing environmental permitting applications in line with regulatory requirements.\nCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including ecologists and engineers. \nEngaging with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to provide expert advice and guidance.\nProducing clear, concise, and accurate technical reports and documentation.\nGIS Mapping for flood risk and ecology projects.You will have the chance to join a supportive team and training will be provided from a local office.\n\nCandidates will be expected to have a degree in hydrology, environmental science, civil engineering, or a related discipline and experience in conducting flood risk assessments and/or drainage design.
