Your mainresponsibilities will be:
* Improvement of fleet impact on SWR performance and customer satisfaction through the effective management of the Fleet Planning Management team ensuring that delivery and availability targets are consistently met
* Carry out daily review of all fleet planning activities ensuring that effective reporting and close out has been conducted and take action where deficiencies are found
* Review and delivery of depot service level agreements and satisfaction against throughput with regards to capabilities and mileage control
* Management of the Fleet planning team Rosters in conjunction with laid down criteria and development of staff for training
* Management of Fleet planning Competence
* Management of Fleet planning Staff Performance
* Attendance at Timetablong and Resourcing Meetings with TPU
* Attendance on all Joint functional mitigation meetings & Teleconferences within the control function to ensure information and actions are cascaded
* Staff Disciplinary management
* Review and development of Fleet control processes and adherence to standards
* Cover FCM in extreme circumstances (Preferably Days only)
* Escalate all concerns and decisions to the Head of Fleet Performance
* Periodic reporting of Fleet Control Performance against KPI's
* Daily Attendance and action owner from the daily 10:00 Fleet Conference
* Development of process and methods for fleet planning within the control department
* Close working relationship with the senior fleet control manager

Working pattern
You will work an average of 37 hours per week across 5 days. Typically, office hours, Monday to Friday.
