3D Personnel is working with an established and trusted name in UK construction which is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a major regional development. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to steer financial performance and contract compliance from start to finish on a technically significant build. Role Highlights * Lead accurate and timely commercial reporting across all project stages. * Identify and resolve issues early to maintain smooth delivery. * Maximise financial performance while balancing client and supply chain relationships. * Champion contract compliance and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle. * Chair meetings and coordinate stakeholders to maintain alignment and progress. * Manage contractual claims and delay events as needed. * Drive value engineering efforts and liaise across disciplines to deliver efficiencies. * Support senior management in achieving delivery targets and commercial success. Success Measures * Meet internal and external commercial reporting deadlines. * Deliver strong forecasting and cost control throughout the project. * Minimise exposure through early identification and resolution of risks. * Uphold quality, service, and professional standards at every stage. * Foster strong client and supply chain relationships. What You’ll Bring * Proven experience leading significant construction projects within a main contractor setting. * Thorough understanding of construction contracts, particularly JCT. * Strong working knowledge of commercial law, financial control, and dispute resolution. * Able to lead meetings, coordinate teams, and chair stakeholder discussions. * Excellent communication and attention to detail. * Resilient and capable of managing pressure in fast-paced environments. * Willingness to travel as required and work away from home if needed. * Strong IT and data reporting skills.
