Role overview
Are you our next Care Team Leader? Here’s more about the role:
As a Care Team Leader, you will look after the day-to-day needs of our residents, while showing compassion, care and commitment to having a positive impact on their lives. You will work with a team of like-minded individuals, all with a desire to ensure that our residents are comfortable in their home. You will also support Care Assistants in their development.
* First and foremost – we work together as a team to enrich our residents’ lives – let’s support our colleagues too and have fun in the process
* Must have medication training
* We give the highest quality of personalised care to our residents in line with their individual care plans
* Leisure and social activities are a really important part of the day – let’s get stuck in
* Be kind and supportive to residents, their families and colleagues
Responsibilities and expectations
* Work with a team to enrich residents’ lives and support colleagues
* Ensure care is delivered in line with individual care plans
* Support activities and social engagement for residents
Qualifications and skills
* Teamwork: a happy team supports residents and a happy home
* Experience in care is essential; NVQ3 in Social Care is desirable
* Strong communication and flexible approach
* Kindness and genuine care for older people, with respect and dignity for all
