Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for a Band 7 Senior Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Clinical Biochemistry with NHS East and South East London Pathology Partnership (ESEL), based primarily at Royal London Hospital.
The role promotes continuous improvement in service delivery and quality across Biochemistry, working collaboratively with all partnership sites and supporting the Trust’s clinical services through an Agenda for Change shift system.

Qualifications
* Registered with the HCPC as a Biomedical Scientist.
* MSc in Biomedical Science or IBMS Special Examination (Fellowship) – essential qualification.
* Preference for candidates who demonstrate exceptional aptitude and are working toward an MSc, with willingness to develop competencies over a fixed period.
* Successful completion of the MSc will allow transition to a permanent Band 7 role, contingent on meeting all criteria, developmental milestones and competencies.
* Eligibility for sponsorship to undertake postgraduate modules at Greenwich University (Biomedical Science MSc/PGDip/PGCert).
