Are you an experienced Foil Blocking Operator with a strong background in high-quality print finishing? A well-established print and packaging company is seeking a skilled operator to join their team at their Hinckley-based facility.
About The Role
As a Foil Blocking Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating foil blocking machinery to produce premium-quality finishes on a variety of printed materials. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship in print production.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain BOSTS foil blocking machines to meet production targets
* Set up jobs according to customer specifications and job sheets
* Monitor quality throughout the run, making adjustments as necessary
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
* Work closely with the production team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a foil blocking operator in a commercial print environment
* Hands-on experience with BOSTS printing/foil blocking machinery is essential
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of health and safety practices in a manufacturing setting
