Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant new team within our busy bar under new management and ownership.
As a Bar Staff member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
For the right person, with the right experience, we would consider you for a Bar Supervisor role, leading to Bar Manager which, will be paid accordingly.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers efficiently and accurately.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
* Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
* Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* A genuine passion for customer service and hospitality.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions effectively.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including late evenings and weekends as required.
