Overview
At AtkinsRéalis, you will deliver end‑to‑end process engineering solutions for waste‑water and bioresources treatment, including design, commissioning and client support for both local and international projects. You will work in a diverse, inclusive environment that values world‑class talent and collaborative problem solving.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team to conduct technical design work in accordance with design standards and codes, ensuring high‑quality outputs.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones and programme deliverables.
* Collaborate closely with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Apply quality assurance standards throughout the design process.
Qualifications
* Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
* Experience in leading multidisciplinary design delivery.
* Fundamental knowledge and experience of integrated waste‑water and bioresources treatment processes.
* Design and/or operational experience of primary, secondary and tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour and energy management.
* Experience with process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational cost assessments, whole‑life carbon assessments and UK environmental regulations.
* Awareness of process modelling techniques and software (e.g. BioWIn, SUMO).
