We currently have an opportunity for a Site Service Coordinator to join our site service team and provide support to various mine sites in the WA region. In this role, you will assist with the delivery of shutdown maintenance services, capital equipment, and upgrade services, ensuring our projects are completed in line with contracted delivery times and meet quality requirements. This is a Perth-based role, which may require visits to site from time to time.


Job responsibilities

* Manage all client relationship issues by maintaining a customer-centric focus and providing solutions to customer needs, including liaising with customers to advise of planned work dates and prioritising workloads.
* Manage bookings of breakdowns, installations, and service visits with external stakeholders.
* Liaise with customers via telephone and email to assist with enquiries, quotations, and potential orders.
* Handle service bookings and customer queries over the phone.
* Schedule regular client visits to maintain and develop close relationships and understand customer issues related to equipment downtime.
* Review and update existing procedures; initiate and develop new procedures; train and evaluate team members in these procedures.
* Monitor the site and activities of the service teams to ensure productive outcomes and optimal utilisation.
* Act as the primary contact for the selection of new/replacement service technicians, actively participating in the selection process to ensure qualified applicants are selected who will contribute positively to team performance.
* Create a high level of team spirit and engagement by fostering an open and trusting environment where teamwork and cooperation are valued.
* Include coaching as part of your leadership style to ensure ongoing technical and professional development of direct reports.
* Provide effective coaching and feedback to ensure clarity on performance objectives and expected professional behaviors, reacting promptly to individual performance challenges.
* Manage performance and profitability of the branch site service by controlling costs, maximising margins, and engaging with site project managers and coordinators.
* Manage the invoice query database, ensuring all queries are resolved within the specified timeframe.
* Participate in and recommend the selection of supervisors.
* Plan development of identified customer opportunities.
* Perform any other duties as directed by the Field Service Manager.


What you bring

* Mechanical trade qualification or demonstrated previous experience in a similar role.
* 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the mining sector and using an ERP system.
* Current manual car driver’s license.
* Team player with positive interaction skills with all team members.
* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills for working with customers, contractors, and personnel.
* Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced, changing environment with high attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good organisation, multitasking, and time management skills for effective planning.
* Ability to plan work efficiently with minimal supervision and set personal priorities.
