Contract Manager - Industrial Maintenance (Broughton Plant)
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially astute Contract Manager to take the lead in a dynamic industrial maintenance environment. Based at the Broughton Plant, this role supports a high-performance operation that spans mechanical and electrical CNC machinery, conventional production equipment, paint shops, and chemical processing facilities.
The Industrial Maintenance organisation delivers maintenance, calibration, and component manufacturing across a wide range of assets and hand tools. Services are delivered through a blend of in-house teams and external providers. The Contract Manager will report to the Commercial Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring service excellence, cost efficiency, and contractual compliance across multiple service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental Leadership
Ensure all contractor activities comply with relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
Drive robust EHS governance and performance monitoring across all service scopes.
Promote a culture of safety and accountability through regular process confirmations and visible standards.
Commercial & Performance Governance
Translate customer requirements into effective commercial arrangements and KPIs.
Lead performance reviews, deep dives, and continuous improvement initiatives across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People.
Maintain rigorous budget control, cost forecasting, and invoice validation.
Ensure ethical compliance and contractual integrity across all service engagements.
Procurement Collaboration
Work closely with Procurement to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies and contract execution.
Support tendering, evaluation, and negotiation processes with key data and insights.
Ensure timely and coordinated handling of all contractual matters in collaboration with Procurement and Legal.
Success Measures
Safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery across all internal and external stakeholders.
Contracts managed effectively against Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery metrics.
High levels of customer satisfaction and strong supplier performance.
Budget performance optimised through proactive risk management and opportunity identification.
