About The Role The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating warehouse activities to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of goods. This includes leading a team, maintaining high standards of productivity and quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Supervision Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational targets. Schedule work, delegate tasks, and monitor performance. Provide training and coaching to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Warehouse Operations Management Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods. Ensure inventory accuracy through regular checks and audits. Coordinate with other departments to resolve stock or order discrepancies. Monitor workflow and adjust resources to meet demand. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations. Implement best practices and support continuous improvement projects. Safety and Compliance Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards promptly. Reporting and Communication Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including stock movements and incident reports. Communicate effectively with management and other teams to address operational needs. About You Key Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Qualifications And Experience Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain is a plus). Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
