Job Title: RE (Religious Education) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to welcome applications for an RE Teacher to support schools in Sheffield’s S11 area, creating engaging lessons that build respect and promote reflection on diverse perspectives.
As an RE (Religious Education) Teacher, you will guide pupils in exploring religious traditions, moral questions, and contemporary issues, fostering respectful dialogue, critical thinking, and appreciation of diverse perspectives within an inclusive classroom.
Core Responsibilities:
* Deliver well-structured lessons covering religious, ethical, and philosophical topics.
* Encourage thoughtful discussion and respectful debate among pupils.
* Support learners in developing written and verbal reasoning skills.
* Use positive behaviour strategies to maintain a focused learning atmosphere.
* Monitor progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching as an RE Teacher.
* Clear communication and effective classroom management skills.
* A commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding responsibilities.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
