EPRR Clinical Resilience Officer

The role involves offering specialist digital resilience support as part of the EPRR function, with an emphasis on delivering clinically led assistance to medical staff, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals. This includes responsibilities related to business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) arrangements associated with the Trust's ORBIT Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme.
The post holder will work across EPRR, programme teams, Digital/IT Operations, suppliers and service areas to:
* ensure digital and clinical services have practical downtime, fallback and recovery arrangements;
* coordinate and evidence testing and exercising of those arrangements;
* support safe service continuity during planned change (for example cut‑over/go‑live) and unplanned disruption.

Main duties of the job
Support the roll‑out and embedding of the DBTH Digital Transformation Programme across clinical areas as part of the deployment team, with a focus on Trust‑wide documentation for EPRR, business continuity and disaster recovery, in support of the ORBIT Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme.
Provide hands‑on support to clinical teams to implement new ways of working linked to ORBIT, working closely with clinical, ICT and supplier deployment teams to deliver new systems (including mobile technologies). Make sure ORBIT‑dependent services have practical downtime, fallback and recovery arrangements in place.
Coordinate and evidence testing and exercising of continuity and recovery arrangements, and support safe service continuity during planned change (including cut‑over/go‑live) and unplanned disruption.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Training
* Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional Qualification.
* Evidence of post registration development and further academic study, ideally qualified to diploma/degree level.
* Registered Mentor – or equivalent experience / qualification.
* Teaching qualification or equivalent experience / qualification.
Personal Attributes & Skills
* Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with the ability to converse and maintain effective working relationships.
* Working in diverse teams such as GP’s, Clinicians, Consultants and other Healthcare Professionals. Together with ICT, Contractors, Suppliers and Training professionals and support staff.
* Substantial post registration experience in secondary care setting.
* Ability to demonstrate a broad knowledge of secondary care patient pathways.
