Job Description
The role is responsible for driving and executing key change and transformation projects in support of our global HR strategy for ensuring our HR processes continually improve. The role will provide excellent stakeholder engagement and the highest levels of customer service, quality, and compliance.
A key part of the role is to harness self-service, enabling business engagement and support to ensure Workday, Smart Recruiters, Service Now, and the Manila Service Centre are fully utilized and deliver a high quality, high value service.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute strategic HR projects connecting with counterparts in other regions to fulfill the ‘think and act global’ mindset.
* Participate in global forums. Where required, lead on global projects and be a key decision maker ensuring business needs are always considered.
* Identify and lead through to execution process and policy simplification and standardization opportunities.
* Deliver change projects with a hands-on approach to implementation and autonomy for decision making.
* Lead on transition projects. Identify opportunities for offshoring services, develop and manage the project plan from requirements through to implementation.
* Develop and present detailed and compelling business cases to influence senior stakeholders in their decision-making process.
* Manage a broad range of relationships across projects and into the wider organization, communicating effectively and influencing appropriately to achieve project opportunities.
* With a global lens, understand the change management effort required when enabling change.
* Develop and build relationships with global teams, work collaboratively across regions to enable best practice sharing.
* Utilize standard project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
* Be an advocate for change and always challenge the status quo.
* Ensure continuous improvement and apply LEAN principles to all HR processes. Identify areas for standardization that offer the greatest reward in delivering on our Global HR strategy.
* Where possible, always leverage technology to drive digital, simplified, intuitive, cost-efficient solutions.
* Contribute to global HRIS system improvement activities to enable optimization of our HR systems, embedding our self-service philosophy across all regions.
* Work with HRIS teams to suggest changes, collaborating through design and implementation.
* Identify areas of risk on HR projects and implement improvement measures to mitigate.
Qualifications
* Excellent understanding and hands-on experience of continuous improvement concepts & project management methodologies.
* High level of understanding and experience in HR and digital technology.
* Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and work effectively at all levels in an organization.
* Strong customer orientation.
* Meticulous and methodical, with strong organizational skills and drive to see things through to completion.
* Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
* Problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
* Expert business knowledge to enable effective decision-making.
* Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, with confidence to work with numbers and data.
* Excellent understanding of HR policies and processes.
* Good understanding of data and analytics, with the ability to use data for informed decisions.
* Confident with strong decision-making skills.
* Ability to navigate a matrixed and virtual environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to influence key stakeholders.
* Strong leadership skills, capable of working both in a team and autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications
* HR Professional Qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or above).
* Prince2 or equivalent Project Management qualification.
* Change Management qualification.
