As a CMM Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection of precision components supplied into the aerospace, automotive, and defence sectors. Key Duties: Perform CMM inspection of precision components Operate CMM equipment Manually measure parts using verniers, micrometres, gauges, callipers, etc. Document quality issues and report non-conformances Compile detailed inspection reports Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Adhere to all health and safety procedures Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience as a CMM Inspector within a manufacturing environment (essential) Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings Proficiency with measuring equipment CMM programming experience (highly advantageous) IT proficiency (Microsoft Office) Knowledge of FAIRS High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work both independently and as part of a team This vacancy is based in Redditch, easily accessible from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge.
