Job Title: Senior Corporate/Commercial Solicitor
Location: Local to Leeds (hybrid working available)
Salary: Up to £70,000 (dependent on experience)
Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave + Bank Holidays, birthday off, option to earn additional days
The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Corporate/Commercial Solicitor to join a friendly and supportive team, working across their offices. This role offers genuine scope to progress to Head of Department and play a key part in growing the practice.
The successful candidate will inherit an existing workload from a retiring senior solicitor and will work closely with a valued client base, delivering high-quality, commercially astute advice across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a varied caseload of corporate and commercial work, including:
Mergers and acquisitions
Shareholder agreements
Commercial contracts
Business sales and purchases
Restructuring and corporate governance matters
Advising clients across a variety of sectors with a focus on building long-term relationships
Supporting and mentoring junior team members as required
Playing an active role in business development and contributing to the growth of the department
Working collaboratively with other teams to deliver a joined-up service to clients
About You
Experienced Corporate/Commercial Solicitor (minimum 3 years + PQE)
Strong technical knowledge with the ability to handle matters autonomously
Excellent client care skills with a focus on building trusted relationships
Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Strong team player with the desire to contribute to a close-knit, values-driven environment
